A PERSONAL VIEW ON DISABILITY

You know, 4 years ago I couldn’t speak, and there are a lot of people, some of them are probably reading this now, who wish I still couldn’t.
I was asked to write about life after stroke but after giving it a lot of thought I’ve decided that it would be very presumptuous for me to do that.
You see, I don’t think that anyone has the right, the knowledge, or the experience to say that they can fully understand or know how every individual stroke survivor feels after having a stroke.
So what I’ve decided to do is write about my own experience and give own my opinions on life after stroke, and I’ve decided to break it down into 5 different categories.
- Before My Stroke.
- How My Stroke Affected Me.
- Society In General.
- The Disability Discrimination Act.
- The Right To Complain.
But I want to make it clear that whatever I say comes from me personally, some of you may agree some of you may not, but that’s just tough.
