You know, 4 years ago I couldn’t speak, and there are a lot of people, some of them are probably reading this now, who wish I still couldn’t.

I was asked to write about life after stroke but after giving it a lot of thought I’ve decided that it would be very presumptuous for me to do that.

You see, I don’t think that anyone has the right, the knowledge, or the experience to say that they can fully understand or know how every individual stroke survivor feels after having a stroke.

Don't you believe it!!


So what I’ve decided to do is write about my own experience and give own my opinions on life after stroke, and I’ve decided to break it down into 5 different categories.



  • Before My Stroke.
  • How My Stroke Affected Me.
  • Society In General.
  • The Disability Discrimination Act.
  • The Right To Complain.
 But I want to make it clear that whatever I say comes from me personally, some of you may agree some of you may not, but that’s just tough. So here goes,
